Sabia Prescott
Sabia Prescott has spent nearly a decade working at the intersection of policy and equity. Her work focuses on how laws and regulations shape opportunity and inclusion for historically marginalized communities. Sabia started her career at New America, working across teams focused on education, LGBTQ+ rights, workforce development, technology, and gender equity, helping bridge research and advocacy to advance more inclusive systems. She later joined the Campaign for Our Shared Future, an issue campaign dedicated to protecting equitable public education and countering restrictive state and local legislation. Over the past five years, Sabia has focused on the rise of anti-DEI efforts and policies targeting marginalized populations, exploring their implications for equity, democracy, and civic life. She holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Mary Washington and a Master of Public Administration from The George Washington University. She lives in Chicago with her family.
